Initial consultation
Meet with one of our friendly implant dentists to discuss your options. During this consultation, we’ll take scans, pictures, and videos to assess your teeth and jaw, and help determine if dental implants are the right solution for you. Our innovative dental technology can scan your teeth quickly and easily - no need for messy impressions to be taken.
Inserting the metal implants
Your dentist will begin by numbing the area with local anaesthetic to keep you comfortable. Then, they’ll fit the metal implants in your jaw.
Healing and temporary restoration
It usually takes around 3-6 months for the metal implants to heal and for your jawbone to fuse with them, creating a strong foundation for your new tooth. During this time, we might fit you with a temporary crown.
Fitting your permanent crown or bridge
Once your implant has fully healed, we’ll fit your custom-made crown, bridge, or denture. This will restore both the look and function of your missing tooth, allowing you to chew, speak, and smile with confidence.
At this stage, your dentist will also prepare your mouth for your dentures. If you’re getting partial dentures, this may include shaping or adjusting any remaining teeth to ensure a secure and comfortable fit.
Aftercare and follow-up
Your dentist will tell you how to look after your implants and will monitor your recovery to make sure your implant is healing properly. You may be asked to visit for a follow-up appointment to check on the progress of your implant.
